Mr. Tony Torrey in Ashland, Massachusetts first produced Torwel Sand and Salt Spreaders in 1946. Today Torwel products are manufactured in our modern 45,000 square foot facility in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Our dealer network extends across the United States into Alaska, and Canada. Our major sales area is the northeast where we maintain a strong dealer network. We are aggressively strengthening our network nation-wide.

Torwel Industries, Inc. Produces two basic products: "The Economizer" installed on pickup trucks and the "Torwel Hydraulic Unit" installed on large trucks. Hopper sizes range from 1 cubic yard to 16 cubic yards.

Along with our list of options, we will manufacture sander units to your requirements. We have a long- standing reputation for high quality products and excellent service.
